Geoff1 150x150 About our Holistic PractitionersGeoff DePaula M.Ac. Lic.Ac. Dipl.C.H. – Geoff originally got interested in the Mind-Body internal arts in 1993 via the Burlington Tai Chi club (now the Bao Tak Fai Tai Chi Institute), while he was in undergraduate school at the University of Vermont. After 4 years of intensive study and practice he decided to attend acupuncture school to further his fascination with the power of the mind and how it controls one’s Qi. After completing the schools 3 year (year -round) training, he received his Master’s degree in Acupuncture from New England School of Acupuncture in Watertown, MA in 2000. In addition, he completed a postgraduate 3 year training in Traditional Chinese herbal medicine from a premier school of its kind called White Pine Healing Arts. This program had a keen focus on gynecology, internal medicine, respiratory conditions, & dermatology. Geoff is a diplomate in Acupuncture & Chinese herbal medicine via the NCCAOM, (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) and is board certified by the Massachusetts Board of Medicine. His practice specializes in the treatment of pain, digestive disorders (including Candidia treatment), respiratory disease, gynecology, immune/energy enhancement, and using custom constitutional diet therapy to optimize your health for long term wellness .

Geoff is dedicated to teaching individuals about tools to reduce stress, and how to integrate these practices into their life to promote mental/emotional peace-of-mind and happiness. He also teaches on topics such as Yoga Nidra (yogic “sleep” for stress reduction), food & healing, anti-aging naturally, and total optimization of health and wellbeing from an East-West perspective.

Eileen 150x150 About our Holistic PractitionersEileen Power DePaula M.Ed., M.Ac. Lic.Ac. – has been practicing Acupuncture since 1995, and is licensed by the Board of Medicine in Massachusetts. She has been a massage therapist since 1986, and holds a BS in Clinical Nutrition from the University Of New Hampshire, an M.Ed. in Health Education from Boston University, and is a Certified Childbirth Educator through the Association of Labor Assistants and Childbirth Educators (ALACE). Furthermore, Eileen is on the faculty at The New England School of Acupuncture where she teaches prenatal acupuncture.

She has spent over 20 years specializing in women’s health with a particular focus on gynecology, fertility, prenatal and postpartum, stress and anxiety disorders, orthopedics, and adjunctive cancer treatment. She was a faculty member at the New England School of Acupuncture for 6 years, and currently teaches post-graduate education to acupuncturists in the area of women’s health.

David 150x150 About our Holistic PractitionersDavid Marble MAOM, Lic.Ac. – is a Massachusetts native. He received a BA in religion from Wesleyan University, and spent 3 years at Harvard Divinity School pursuing ordination before realizing that the life of a minister wasn’t for him. After taking a year off to deal with a family illness, he decided that acupuncture was the place where his “deep gladness meets the world’s deep need”, one of the critical questions of vocation he considered in divinity school. David graduated with a dual masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and has received significant extracurricular training in Shakuju Therapy, a Japanese technique that doesn’t involve needle insertion. His practice style primarily uses Japanese acupuncture and Sotai (an assisted stretching technique), with Chinese acupuncture styles and herbal therapies available as needed by the individual patient. He was also the recipient of the Compassionate Healer award at the New England School of Acupuncture.

Lisa 150x150 About our Holistic PractitionersLisa Cahill- Green M.Ac., Lic.Ac., Dipl. Ac. -received her Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture in Watertown, MA. She is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine and is recognized as a Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).  Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Assumption College. She is also a member of the Network of Enterprising Women (NEW) in Hopkinton.  Lisa has years of personal experience pursuing holistic wellness that include:  Eastern styles of meditation, yoga, energy work, Qigong and Tai Chi.   These studies and practices lend a unique depth to her approach as a practitioner.   She received in-depth training in Japanese Style Acupuncture, Medical Qigong and Shakuju (non-insertive needle technique) and holds certificates in the following disciplines:

Auriculotherapy (Ear Acupuncture) from the Auricular Therapy Certification Institute, Inc., Taichi Second level Chen Style Taijiquan ,  Kundalini Yoga instructor from the Kundalini Research Institute  and Third degree Master Teacher in Usi Shiki Rhyoho Traditional Reiki.  &  Shonishin (pediatric acupuncture).

Lisa’s clinical experience at Winchester Family Medical Center provided her the opportunity to treat a wide range of health conditions including: migraines, anxiety, depression, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, insomnia, asthma, IBS, acute and chronic pain, menopausal symptoms, fertility, PCOS and PMS.

As a mother of a teenager, she has an interest in treating conditions common in adolescents such as: post concussive syndrome, migraines, attention disorders, digestive and stress related issues.
